Several years ago I stoped publishing this blog, and instead set up two newsletters. The first newsletter, Mary Louisa Locke’s Newsletter, provides information on new publications, promotions of existing books, and links to other author’s books I think people might find interesting.
The second newsletter, is called An Aging Author’s Daily Diversions. In these daily posts I not only talk about what I have been doing to age gracefully and how my writing is progressing, but I include occasional longer pieces drawing on what I have learned doing my research, called Historical Tidbits.
I would love to have you subscribe to either or both of these newsletters (which are free) if you haven’t done so already.

Yes, I put out a new novella Mr. Wong to the Rescue in December, and I am hard at work at new full-length novella, Etched in Blood.
